Each person on this planet is, in sense, a living cell.
Combined we make the body of our Lord.
If that’s the case, the Father isn’t feeling very well,
if you look at what this world is heading toward.
There’s just too much corruption, too much hate and too much sin,
like a cancer spreading wild through the Father.
I feel the ice we’re walking on is wearing very thin.
To make a change seems hopeless, why then bother?
But then it all comes back to me, although the leg is lame,
the hands may still be functioning quite well.
By clasping tight together, praising Jesus holy name,
those hand might pick up several who have fell.
Our Church is just one heartbeat pumping Jesus holy blood,
to the many in such dyer need of saving.
Like tiny drops of water, working hard to be a flood.
To be ministers, to satisfy God’s cravings.
To change the lives of those around us. Sweet rejuvenation!
Bringing life back to a body that is ailing.
To pull together for our God, increasing circulation.
To repay our Lord, for on the cross, his nailing.
