Why the Sour Attitude

You’ve got a wife.  You’ve got two kids.
A Business that does right for you.
You’ve got your toys and property.
The future’s looking bright for you.

I’d think that you would count your blessings.
Filled with love and gratitude.
Instead it seems to me you have,
a bittter, sour attitude.

You’re so unfriendly, so damn cold.
It’s truly quite annoying.
Think of the relationships,
your attitude might be destroying.

Who made you judge of everyone.
To criticize so very many.
Think about your own faults sometimes.
‘Less, of course, you don’t have any.

Think of those you joke about,
whose fortune wasn’t bright as yours.
Put yourself in their shoes one time.
Latch onto their struggling oars.

‘Stead of always ridiculing.
Looking down on everyone.
Try to see them as your brother.
Treat them as they were your son.
