Let T.V. Be a Lesson to Others

Live on T.V., correspondents from news,
Are giving us, live, on the scene, real time views.
Never before has such coverage been seen.
My fear is the footage becoming obscene.

We’re watching the tanks as they roll thru the lands.
Iraqis surrendering—raising their hands!
Others ecstatic ‘bout seeing our troops!
In the streets dancing, rejoicing in groups!

They know liberation has finally come.
An end to starvation, dictation and slum!
An end to a torturous and murderous regime!
Thanks to America and its coalition team!

Yes, it’s awesome to know this land’s going to be free.
That we saw it happening live on T.V!
War coverage showing our power, displayed.
If this doesn’t make North Korea afraid!

I hope that you are not the next ones we view.
On television as we come walk over you.
You’ve seen what we’re capable of.  Don’t make us mad.
Let’s continue relations like we recently had.

Shut down your reactors.  Retract your sick threat.
Before we let you share Saddam’s sad regret.
If you have a doubt ‘bout this land of the free,
Sit down on your sofa, turn on your T.V.
