Your Children’s Needs are Met
I have two, special children
that I try to raise God’s way.
I know that it’s important
they believe in him and pray.
I don’t just want them baby-sat
while I am being taught.
They too have little battles,
with the Devil, being fought.
I wanted them in Sunday school.
To learn of Jesus Christ!
To learn about Salvation
and how high that it was priced.
The first time that I brought them here,
I fell in love that quick.
I felt God’s Spirit in their rooms.
I knew, right then, we’d click.
The kids, they both, felt right at home.
And got to love it more.
After class we chose to roam.
We found as we’d explore.
That this was going, our Church, to be.
Where God would help us grow.
This Church has blessed my kids and me,
more than we even know.
A special bunch of girls and guys,
Devoted to this task.
They love my kids and make them wise.
To questions they might ask.
They make the Gospel, fun for them.
Dependably and true.
The kind things they have done for them,
And those that they’ve to do.
Will all rank high, come judgment day.
They’ll stand before God’s son.
I know one thing that Christ will say.
That one thing is “Well Done.”
